Awards and Prizes
All the winners and finalists will be featured in our magazine “Maternity Photo Award 2020”, and in the winners gallery on our website.
Prizes are listed on the Prizes page.
Categories
The competition is divided into 6 categories :
- Maternity in studio – Mum to be alone or with husband or with family or with pets
- Maternity outdoor – Mum to be alone or with husband or with family or with pets
- Maternity underwater- Mum to be alone or with husband or with family or with pets
- Maternity nude – Mum to be alone or with husband
- Newborn & Baby – From 0 days to 2 years old, 1 or more babies on the picture
- Fine Art and Painterly Portrait – Maternity, or newborn, or baby, or children (up to 16 years old)
Deadline
Your images and your payment must be received before 11:59 PM July 31st 2020 (Paris Time).
How to submit your images
Step 1 : rename your images
Rename your images with this pattern before sending them : category, last name, first name, city and country where you are from, and number or the image on 2 digits (01, 02, 03, etc…).
- Maternity in studio : STUDIO_lastname_firstname_city_country_01.jpg
- Maternity outdoor : OUTDOOR_lastname_firstname_city_country_01.jpg
- Maternity underwater : UNDERWATER_lastname_firstname_city_country_01.jpg
- Maternity nude : NUDE_lastname_firstname_city_country_01.jpg
- Newnborn and Baby : BABY_lastname_firstname_city_country_01.jpg
- Fine Art : FINEART_lastname_firstname_city_country_01.jpg
Step 2 : resize your images
Images must be 2500 pixels on the longest side and less than 3 Mo or 3 Mb.
Step 3 : upload your images
Go to the page Submit Your Images linked on the menu.
Fill the form with all the asked informations.
Upload your images.
Step 4 : payement
Proceed to payment to validate your submission.
- 1 image per category – FREE
- 1 additional image – 10 €
- 5 additional images – 45 €
- 10 additional images – 80 €
- 20 additional images – 150 €
- 30 additional images + portfolio review – 200 €
Finalists and winners
Finalists and winners will be announced on September 15th, 2020.
Conditions of participation
Submission is only possible via the online form. We do not accept submissions sent by email or by post mail. You can fill the submission form only once.
Your images must be 2500 pixels on the longest side and less than 3 Mo. Images must be saved in sRGB. File extension must be JPG or JPEG.
Digital backgrounds are allowed.
Textures are allowed.
The image must have been photographed and retouched by you. You must be the owner of each element of the image (including digital background and texture). You must have the written model release from all people on your images.
You are not allowed to submit an image taken at a workshop or instructional course, except if you are the instructor.
No logo and no watermark on the image.
Prizes
The sponsors are responsible for their prizes. Shipping cost is not included.
Vouchers will be sent by email to the winners by the Maternity Photo Awards or by the sponsors.
Copyright
All the entrants retain the copyright of their images.
By submitting your images to this competition, you grant an ongoing, royalty-free, universal, non-exclusive right and license to Maternity Photo Awards to use, copy, distribute, display, publish your submitted images for any commercial or non-commercial purpose in relation with the advertising and announcements of the Maternity Photo Awards and all social media accounts and partners.
